SF Aesthetics, Dr. Jeannie Tsai

This review is overdue! I cannot speak highly enough about my experience getting masseter botox with Dr. Tsai. As someone who has struggled with teeth grinding and jaw clenching, finding an expert injector who understands the nature of TMJ treatment was very important to me. My results over the past 2 years have been life-changing - my jaw tension is non-existent and facial sliming is a plus! Dr. Tsai is also just a wonderful human. Her staff is very welcoming and their attention to detail and patient care is what sets them apart.

Dr Tsai is awesome! I get my masseters injected. My grinding has subsided and the pain relief is life changing. She has done my Botox and filler for years. She has a great aesthetic eye which gives natural results. She is very meticulous; I highly trust and recommend! She will be my provider forever!

I'm a dental hygienist and I can honestly say that masseter botox is by far the top effective therapy for clenching/grinding your teeth whether it be in your sleep or in the daytime. I've seen patients who had a lot of dental problems and chronic migraines that went away from masseter botox treatment. I also get it done regularly myself with Dr. Tsai and she is just exceptional and highly experienced. I'm so grateful to have discovered her (actually referred to her) years ago.

I had a very bad experience with Dr. Tsai. I'm disappointed with the level of patient care and communication provided by her. When you are ready to see her, she doesn’t greet you and lead you to the patient room, you literally have to find the treatment room in the halls and try to find her. Before starting the treatment I asked her about the options for treatment and the price. Then she boldly insults you by asking you if you’re doing bad financially and that you should be able to afford her treatments. I never even mentioned to her that the treatments were too expensive or for any discount! What kind of doctor insults her patients like that?! Dr. Tsai apparently does! When my treatment was complete, she quickly popped out of the room to the next patient, not letting you know your procedure is complete or to contact her if you have any concerns. After my treatment I noticed that laser treatment was not done properly in a certain area and called the office to ask questions and talk with Dr. Tsai. After multiple calls and emails there was no personal response from her addressing the issue in question. The staff said they were going to call back to confirm the follow up appointment scheduled for the next day. There was no call back and the next day the office was closed. I then did another follow up and email with absolutely no reply from her. Dr. Tsai’s level of patient care has significantly gone down, and disappointing to say the least. If you are looking for good service, results, and patient care, there are far better med spas out there to visit. Stay away from SF Aesthetics and Laser Center. _____________________________________ In response to the review from SF Aesthetics and Laser. Dr. Tsai can discuss the cost of treatment without insulting her patients. There is a lack of integrity by the staff as well. There was no 20 minute post treatment follow-up protocol over the phone. If there was any type of conversation like that, it would show that Dr. Tsai and the staff actually cared about their patients. Nobody wants to schedule a follow up treatment with a lack of response and follow up of patients after reaching out many times.

I visited for sun spot removal and had an excellent experience! The front desk staff were kind and professional, as was Dr. Tsai. She didn’t try to upsell unnecessary treatments and demonstrated great expertise. I’m very pleased with my results so far!
