I am no stranger to med spas in NYC. I have been using them for nearly 20 years, but I've found my forever 'home' in Tribeca Med Spa.. specifically with Laura. No one else has ever given me the level of stress free, no pressure care like her. She is the consummate professional and takes her time to develop a plan for the best treatment options for my individual needs. Her work is so amazing that I'm constantly asked by both friends and colleagues if I can get them appointments with her.. as she's a hot ticket and often fully booked. Thank you for always keeping me looking my best!
I only ever get dermaplaning at the NYC Skinlab. I go to the UES location and I highly recommend Annie! She is very skillful and I have super sensitive skin. I also only use Skinceuticals products and it is great to be able to talk to someone like Annie who is super knowledgeable about the line.
I came here to get dermaplaned before vacation and had the best experience! Granted, a very simple treatment but the customer service was superb. I was frantic when I came in and the patient coordinators and practitioner, Alexandra all put me at ease, almost immediately. They were extremely accommodating. Alexandra was knowledgeable and told me about all sorts of products and treatments that could be good for my skin. She was efficient and then used this amazing serum to help with the redness I was experiencing. Overall, 10/10 experience and I will definitely be back for more treatments!
I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience, especially as a loyal client whose family has spent a significant amount of money here over the years and also referred friends. I booked my appointment online, selected a provider, and received both a text and email confirmation for my 1 PM appointment that I had scheduled the day before. When I arrived, I was told the appointment "shouldn't have gone through" because I didn't select a specific area, which I did and that's why I had proof of confirmation via text and email. There were 3 staff members at the front desk, you would think at least one of them could have called to let me know before I traveled from Brooklyn into the city, paid tolls, the congestion fee, and parking. Instead, I was told that "someone should have caught it and called," even though this was clearly their error. Rather than taking responsibility, the situation was being framed as my fault. They couldn't accommodate me and only offered a possible appointment at another location 45 minutes away. There was no real effort to make it right, just a brief apology. For a business that positions itself as professional and client-focused, this experience fell far short. Clients should not be treated this way, especially when the error was clearly on their end. This was very disappointing and not the level of professionalism I expected.
Amazing first time at the spa with Taryn Johnston. I booked initially because they use Skin Ceuticals, but am definitely going to continue visiting Taryn. She is a wealth of skin care knowledge, and most importantly had me leaving glowing after my Hydra-Facial. Amazing customer service and clean beautiful spa!
