Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery

The women at the front were so helpful with the check in process. I do my best to check in prior but the section where you take photos of your insurance card would not work, so they were able to take it as well as help me with issues with my new last name. Dr. Michelle Davis is the greatest. She's thorough and quick but asks if you have had any concerns. I've been going to her for years. All the medical assistants have been kind as well.

I've been a patient of Advanced Derm's Phx office for 10+ years, seeing the same doc that entire time. Recently, the office called the day before my appointment (scheduled 6 months in advance) to cancel. I get it, things come up for docs, just like they do for patients. However, I was told the next available appt. was in 2.5 months. Again, I get it, my doc is popular and his schedule is limited -- But putting me at the very back of the line after canceling me the day before is unacceptable. Shouldn't the appts that got canceled be given special attention to get them in ASAP? A special waitlist perhaps? When I pointed out the unfairness of how I was being treated, the Office Manager disagreed and said they don't make waitlists and that I could "make an appt. with a different doc". Honestly, I get treated better at the U.S. Post Office.

Everyone was welcoming and courteous. Michelle Davis was great and gave me wonderful news concerning a spot my PCP was sure was cancerous, but turned out to be nothing to worry about. Overall a great place to visit.

The team at Advanced Dermatology was very professional and efficient. The intake process was smooth and the staff were kind and considerate. Dr. Laffer is very intelligent but not arrogant, like some doctors. He is a good listener and seems to value a patient’s perspective. Overall, I had a very positive experience at my first dermatology appointment.

Best interaction with a physician I’ve ever had. Office staff was polite and very efficient. Called me in on time. Dr Laffer spent a sufficient amount of time examining me and answered all my questions. Excellent communication. Check out was friendly and quick.
